Sheffield University Boxing Club offers you the opportunity to take part in boxing sessions at the university, available for all abilities. Our fantastic coaches teach everything from the basics of boxing, to more complex techniques and combinations, as well as improving your fitness along the way. We provide 3 mixed-gender sessions each week, and one women’s-only session too.
Throughout the year, members have the opportunity to gain new skills and techniques in boxing, along with increased fitness. Our weekly sessions provide an introduction to boxing for those with no experience, and allow those with experience to focus on their technique and fitness. Anyone wanting the chance to spar or compete is also able to train with the club at our Friday sessions at Sheffield City Boxing Club, and work towards representing the university in Varsity. Membership with the club will provide you with kit for sessions, as well as one free session each week of the year. Over the course of both semesters, we enjoy regular socials and charity events that you can also get involved in. The club is extremely welcoming and has formed a friendly and inviting community, allowing members to make great friends through boxing.
